Content Management System
Q  What qualities should my professional logo have?

Unique - your logo should stand out and be instantly recognizable in your industry.

Flexible - your logo should be usable on everything from billboards to pens.

Simple - your logo should be easy to recognize and not distract your audience with small text or special effects.

Works in color or black and white - your logo should be effective at communicating your brand regardless of how audiences view it.

Memorable - we all remember what logos for the "big brands" look like and yours should leave your audience with a lasting impression as well.

Illustrative - color, font and design are all important when it comes to your logo. Your logo should tell the audience something about your company.

Informative - when looking at your logo, audiences should be able to gain some understanding about your company.

Lasting - your logo should avoid using trendy fonts or cultural references. Your logo should be able to stand the test of time without major modifications.

Q  Why should my company consider a Content Management System?

A CMS allows you to update your website without paying maintenance fees or waiting for a developer.

Q  What will a website do for my business?

A website is a powerful marketing tool that can make a significant impact on your business by providing new leads, increased brand awareness and enhanced customer loyalty. Your website works for you 24/7 instead of just during business hours.

Q  Can't you just update my website for me?

That is a service we offer - you can read more about our worry-free maintenance plans.

Q  Why don't you use an open-source content management system?

The truth is we can and have worked with some of the open source content management systems out there before. Our CMS has benefits that you won't get from the open-source solutions, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Magento. Some of the benefits include:

  • They were developed by third parties which gives us less ability to customize the CMS to the features that the client needs.
  • Maintenance is more time-consuming because we are not as familiar with these systems and therefore development and troubleshooting take much longer.
  • We're not bound by plug-ins or third parties for customization. Since we built our CMS we have the freedom to make any customizations needed.
  • Our system is a better solution for businesses who think their business model might change over time. Our solution allows for the most scalability over time.
Q  What's the difference between a mobile website and a mobile app?

A mobile website is similar to a desktop website but is optimized for users visiting on their mobile device and requires an Internet connection. An app requires the user to download a program to their device and may contain content that is available offline.

Q  What CMS do you use?

We have developed our own propriety content management system - Sandbox CMS - for use on the websites we develop. Our CMS is currently in use by over 100 customers in many different industries.
